To keep pace with growth, we are looking forward to recruiting a Global Advisor Inclusive Education within our Community Based Inclusive Development Initiative.
This is a full-time position to be based in one out of our permanent established CBM entities followed by the local contractual terms of the respective country. An expatriation is not intended.
These are your qualifications
- Minimum of master’s degree or equivalent in education, educational psychology, education management, international development, disability studies or other relevant fields in the context of inclusive education
- Background and min. 10 years of working experience in Inclusive Education, partly in the context of international cooperation.
- Experience in Disability-Inclusive Development
- Experience in advocacy and networking with governments and key stakeholders
- Experience in designing trainings
- Knowledge and understanding of key players and stakeholders in Inclusive Education at global, regional and national level
- Experience and understanding of intercultural contexts and working with intercultural teams
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team (including virtually as well as face to face work contexts)
- Ability to produce or contribute to communication materials for different audiences (practitioners, experts, general audience including donors)
- Experience in developing strategic plans, policies, or curricula (advantageous)
- Identification with Christian values and the mandate of the CBM
