The work of ZOA is coordinated from Apeldoorn. From there we work in several countries in Africa, South America, the Middle East and Asia. ZOA employs around 900 people worldwide.

ZOA CN Myanmar is looking for a Trainee Manager of Programme Quality

Your challenge

As a trainee Manager Program of Quality, you will support the Myanmar program in the development of a new program area in northwest Myanmar. In addition, you support the team in Myanmar to improve the quality of the program implementation. Part of this is promoting and stimulating learning through evaluations, when a programme cycle closes. Finally, you will help the country team develop high-quality project proposals for potential donors.

Your profile

As a suitable candidate, you are someone who:

Knowledge

  • have completed a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree (no longer than 2 years ago). Think of international development, humanitarian work, international relations or development economics;
  • has a good oral and written command of the Dutch and English language;
  • has knowledge of the project cycle and development of a log frame and a ToC;
  • has knowledge of climate resilience and change.

Skills/attitude:

  • propagates the Christian vision and mission of ZOA;
  • has strong research skills and can perform evaluations, context analyses, data collection and analysis;
  • has a passion for helping those in need;
  • can work well together and work in a multicultural team;
  • is curious and can think critically;
  • has a flexible attitude;
  • are culturally sensitive;
  • has good writing skills;
  • result oriented.
